Concept pathWhat the product does in one pass.

The detailed setup lives in the dashboard. The public story is simpler: see what AI systems can read, improve visibility, then prepare paid access only when there is real value.

Plain-language sequence

AutomateIndex does not ask customers to start with payment configuration. It starts by showing what AI systems can already access, then helps owners decide what should be clearer, prepared, or paid later.

01
See

Find what AI systems can already read.

02
Clarify

Make important facts and files easier to understand.

03
Package

Prepare approved content packages for agents.

04
Charge

Use AgentToll only when there is packaged value.

Core concepts

How AutomateIndex works.

AutomateIndex helps a website become easier for AI systems to see, understand, and access on the owner's terms.

The product starts with visibility: which AI systems can already read the site, which pages are important, and where public guidance is missing.

From there, AutomateIndex helps owners improve how their content is understood, publish clearer instructions for AI systems, and prepare approved content packages for agents when paid access makes sense.

AI visibility

Make your site easier for AI systems to understand.

AutomateIndex helps owners see how AI crawlers interact with their site and improve the signals those systems can read.

The practical goal is to keep important pages crawlable, make facts easier to understand, keep source material current, and show what changed over time.

That gives the site stronger source material for AI search, AI shopping, and agent workflows. AutomateIndex reports readiness and evidence, while external AI systems still make their own ranking and citation decisions.

Monitoring

Watch AI crawler access before changing policy.

Monitoring shows which AI, search, training, and unknown crawlers request the site and which paths they touch.

The first install should observe, not enforce. Site owners get evidence while humans, customers, and normal search crawlers continue to use the website.

The dashboard owns the actual setup flow: verification, monitoring checks, generated-file checks, reports, and provider-specific guidance.

Guidance files

Public files give AI systems clearer instructions.

Small public guidance files help AI systems understand the site without guessing from ordinary pages alone.

They can point to important pages, explain licensing intent, describe what agents may use, and show where approved access belongs.

They do not replace normal pages, force paid access, or create guaranteed placement. They make the public surface clearer and more consistent.

x402 and Base

Small agent payments need internet-native rails.

Traditional card and bank payment systems are not designed for tiny software requests, such as a $0.01 fetch of an approved content package.

x402 is a web payment standard for request-level payments. In plain terms, compatible software can be asked to pay for a specific protected resource, then receive access when the payment is accepted.

Base is a public Ethereum layer-2 blockchain built for lower-cost transactions. AutomateIndex uses the Base blockchain as the current settlement path for optional AgentToll payments, so tiny paid requests can become practical while keeping the customer experience simple.

AgentToll

AgentToll turns approved AI access into revenue.

AgentToll is the paid access module inside AutomateIndex for AI agents that want approved, useful information from a site.

The bigger product gives owners monitoring, visibility improvement, and the ability to prepare valuable information that agents can request instead of taking it for free from ordinary pages.

Compatible agents can pay for approved content packages such as product information, price lists, research data, comparison facts, or other high-value material prepared for agent use.

Search-safe

Stay open for discovery while adding control.

AutomateIndex is designed to preserve normal discovery while giving owners a clearer way to monitor and manage AI access.

That means monitor first, keep human visitors and major search crawlers open by default, and review training or bulk crawlers with real evidence.

If a site owner later wants stricter rules, the dashboard should show the likely tradeoff and keep paid agent access separate from ordinary public pages.

Dashboard rollout

From concept to setup inside the dashboard.

After the public scan, the dashboard turns the idea into a guided workflow for proof, setup, reporting, and optional paid access.

Inside the dashboard, owners can verify a domain, run audits, check generated guidance, connect monitor-only evidence, and decide when paid access belongs.

AutomateIndex provides technical tooling and reporting. It does not replace legal advice or guarantee AI placement, citations, or crawler payment.
